It WAS a nice day for a white wedding...!

Just married!

  1. Oh Susie, what a beautiful photo, gorgeous dress, I tried to leave a comment yesterday on the previous post but some malfunction happened!

It must be a bit weird for you not being there, hopefully you will have all the tradition when your GG gets married.

I got your comment over at mine, I think Uzes is very near Nimes, we are about an hour South West from Toulouse, if you are anywhere near you are more than welcome to stay, we always keep a spare room made up for spur of the moment guests!

  2. Dear Susie,
Well, what a fabulous dress and a wondeful couple.
They are having the wedding that they want and who says rhat it has to be the traditional family affair ?
I'm sure that you would love to be there but, I bet they will celebrate with you in some way when they return.
Wish them all the best from me and I'm sure that there are many happy times ahead for them both. XXXX

  3. Very GWTW Susie! I love the fact that they threw tradition out the window. At least you've got a marriage happening, I've given up on any of our 5 ever stumbling down that path.

  6. Stunning dress Susie, what a great shot, just magic. I think that photo says it all. Whether near or far you can't help but notice the joy they feel.
Congratulations to you....maybe not church bells this time around but there are potentially two (?) more to walk the down the aisle. That dream can still happen :)

  7. What a fabulous dress Susie and I hope that they had a wonderful day. Understand your feelings about not being there in person but I am sure you were 'there' with your son in spirit... XX
